Project Description
The CALM Initiative regularly develops guidelines for demonstration projects, and/or works with its members to provide third party verification of a wide variety of ash basin stability, and wastewater treatment methods. The equipment for these demonstration projects can be transported to the ash basin site and field tests conducted in a manner that can streamline regulatory acceptance. The technical leaders in the CALM Initiative can setup demonstration projects for “conditional permit” review by State and Federal regulatory agencies.
